It seems more important than ever to be kind to one another despite our differences. We adults are still learning how to practice kindness in the grocery store line, while commuting and with our coworkers and friends. Personally, as a former New Yorker, I'm learning how to honk less and be more patient when driving. Our children learn kindness within their family, at school, on the playground, during play dates and by watching adults. It's helpful for them to process these experiences and using picutre books is a simple way to do so. Below are a few of our favorite books on kindness. What are some of your favorites?
