A Valentine's Day Brunch for Littles

Last Valentine's Day I had the itch to do something special but I can get overwhelmed with planning parties and dreaming of big ideas. So to keep things simple, we asked Vera to invite only one friend for breakfast, cookies and play. She invited her cousin, Bennett, to eat heart shaped waffles and play cars. It was a sweet morning. I hope you enjoy the photos.

Vera helped set the table for her date.

I've decided that I could easily rid my home of all toys if I just commit to blowing up one balloon a day. The joy she gets from a simple balloon is unreal.
